Nokia Lumia 800 gets Windows Phone 7.8
The Dutch site WP7.nl is reporting that Nokia has started rolling out the official Windows Phone 7.8 to the Lumia 800.
For Nokia devices like the Lumia 510, 800 and 900, such a development is all but inevitable, after it first appeared on the third party Nokia ROM site NaviFirm, and later on Nokia’s own servers.
Now, provided your device is up-to-date, you may soon receive a certain “Nokia update,” which will then be followed by four larger downloads. ‘May take some time, yes, but when all is done, you’ll be happy to see your Lumia with a newfangled splash screen, customization options, and Xbox Tile, among numerous other changes. Why! Doesn’t your handset look almost the same as a Windows Phone 8?!
