Nokia Lumia 526 is launched in China
One of the latest additions to the Lumia line is the budget smartphone Nokia Lumia 525. It is the upgrade of the very successful Nokia Lumia 520 released a year ago. Lumia 525 is already launched is several countries around the globe. The company has just released a special variant of the phone for the Chinese market, dubbed Nokia Lumia 526. The specs of the smartphone are the same as its sibling Lumia 525. It sports similar design and specs to its predecessor. The Lumia 526 and 525 arrive with 1GB RAM which is an upgrade from the 512MB RAM in Lumia 520. The new device will be offered by one of the biggest mobile operators in the country, China Mobile. It is already available for sells in JD.com for the price of 999 Chinese Yuan (equal to $160) unlocked.
The budget smartphone boasts an excellent set of capabilities and specs for its class. It is running on the operating system Windows Phone 8. The Lumia 526 arrives with 4-inches IPS LCD, 480x800p screen. In the heart of the handset is ticking a dual-core CPU with Snapdragon 400 chip clocked at 1GHz. As we mentioned above it comes with 1GB RAM. There are 8GB storage. It can be expanded with up to 64GB memory with microSD. Let’s not forget the 7GB free SkyDrive storage that owners of Lumia 526 will receive. The budget Lumia device is equipped with 5MP shooter on the back side of the phone. It captures 720p video. It supports the main connectivity features, such as Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS. It is a reliable modern device with compact panel that offers a lot of features and possibilities for less than $200. It works with a 1430mAh battery that gives enough juice of the device to works all day long on the go. The new phone will be available in four color variants – black, yellow, white and red.
