Nokia Lumia 1520 for first time spotted on a camera
Nokia Lumia 1520 or as it is known, Bandit is becoming one of the most rumored upcoming tablets in the mobile world. Few days ago we shared with you the leak revealing the official name of the tablet. Now we finally got the firs pictures that claim to depict the Nokia Lumia 1520. The source of the photos is the WPCentral. On the photo we can see the new 6-inches Bandit or as it is called Lumia 1520, next to the flagship Nokia Lumia 1020 that was recently released.
The WPCentral especially points that it is not confirmed yet that the photo really depicts the upcoming tablet. However the screen of the device reminds a lot to the display captured on a photo in one of the latest leaks. It is another proof that the photos present the upcoming Bandit.
The 6-inches tablet is captured next to the Lumia 1020 which gives us a good idea about the size of the device. The closer look of the photos shows features for wireless charging. The front panel of the tablet is signed with “proto.nokia.com.” This leak of pictures is priceless because it reveals a bit more about the software of the tablet. We can see the home screen of the phone where the big Live Tile next to the medium Live Tile seem to be the features that make it possible for Windows Phone 8 to support large screens, thanks to the innovations in the GDR3 version.
Of what we know so far about the tablet, it will work with a 6-inches screen with 1080 pixels resolution. It will run on Windows Phone 8 which makes it the largest device that works over this platform. The rumors suggest a quad-core Snapdragon 800 chipset for the slate. One of the highlights of the tablet will be its camera that might boast 20MP. The expectations for Lumia 1520 are to arrive at AT&T as many of the Nokia Lumia devices. The rumors suggest that the announcement of the tablet will happen within few weeks.
