Nokia continues the announcement series with Lumia 520
The next low-end device from the Lumia series is Nokia Lumia 520. It emphasises Nokia’s strategy to move to the developing markets and not to suggest only high-end phones. So, after Nokia 105 and 301, the company unveils Lumia 520, which is the cheapest Windows Phone 8 Nokia device. However, there are some features that make it a great deal.
Nokia Lumia 520’s camera sports the lenses used by Lumia 920 – the company’s flagship device. You could easily navigate with the location suit ‘HERE’ and listen to free music either online or offline with Nokia Music.
The device’s screen is highly sensitive 4’’-sized and responds to the slightest touch, which really enhances the working experience with Lumia 520. The processor is 1GHz dual-core, the RAM – 512MB, the storage capacity – 8GB and the device supports microSD. The 5MP camera will give you the opportunity to capture 720p HD Videos. It has different features like Panorama and Cinemagraph. All this will work with the help of 1430 mAh battery, which will be enough for 6 hours on the Internet through Wi-Fi or 9 hours of talking.
Lumia 520 will come in five colours – red, white, yellow, cyan and black, and will cost you 139 Euro. The device will be released in Q1 and it will hit the markets of Hong Kong and Vietnam first, before expanding to Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia (incl. China and India) in Q2. If you want to get it in the USA, the carrier there will be T-Mobile, and the device will be known as Lumia 521.
