Mysterious low-end Nokia device RM-977 is imported in India for testing and evaluation
The website for exported and imported items from and in India, Zauba often provides leaks and gossip about upcoming devices that the manufacturers are testing in the country. A lot of the spotted models never really make it to the market but it is always interesting to know on what are working the companies nowadays. Recently we shared the news about a spotted smartphone by Samsung that was imported in India for testing and evaluation.
The new leak that comes from the site for logistics is about a new Nokia-branded smartphone that is heading to India for tests. It is listed with the codename Nokia RM-977. The information about the specs of the handset is limited. It will be equipped with a 4.5-inches screen. The phone was recently imported in India from Finland for thorough testing. According to the internal document, it will support single SIM. The guessing about the RM-977 suggests that it will be part of the Lumia line. If rumors turn out to be true, it means that the phone will be powered by Windows Phone platform. The costs for the RM-977 are 7966 Indian Rupees (equal to $130 USD).
The leak about the phone does not guarantee that the model will be released eventually. It seems that RM-077 is a low-end device if we use the price as a factor for its package. Even though we don’t have much information about the handset, we do know its model number. This means that the next moment the phone appears in a leak, we will share with you immediately. The upcoming 2014 will bring a lot of innovative and high-end smartphones and devices.
