New update from Google Now makes sure you get to your flight on time
Google has announced on their official page that their application Google Now has been updated yet again and this time it has to do with the users’ airport timetable
According to them, the cards that are used to remind the user that they needed to be somewhere by a certain time, will tell them when they should plan to leave instead, which is far more useful. You can specify where you will be leaving from, if you’re driving or taking public transport and how early you’d like to arrive. Additionally, the where you are leaving from portion will help you accurately calculate the time needed for the trip to the airport. This bit could potentially come in handy for times when you have an errand or two before you head off to the airport.
All you have to do is tap the card and you’ll see these options and it’s left to Google to do the rest.
This update is available in the Google Search app for Android. It is the fastest and easiest way to find what you need on the web and on your device. You can quickly search the web and your phone or tablet, use your voice to search and get personalized results, based on your location. Google Now gets you just the right information at just the right time. It tells you today’s weather before you start your day, how much traffic to expect before you leave for work, and more. Google Now is currently available on Android 4.1, Jelly Bean.
With this app, it will be next to impossible to miss your flight, it will be pulling information on it from your email and instead of only having details for the flight itself, you will also be getting pre-flight information.
You can download Google Search it for free from the Google Play Store HERE.
