New stable Android 4.3 leaks for the Google edition of the Samsung Galaxy S4
Google is yet to announce Android 4.3, but its unofficial version has already leaked and can be found in the Google Play edition of the Samsung Galaxy S4. Build JWR66V is already available for all users who can install Android 4.3 Jelly Bean version on their Galaxy S4 devices. Some installation instructions have been posted as well as the list with the changes and the bugs and apps performance. If you want to risk and install the version it is up to you, but bear in mind that you are the only one who is responsible if something happens during the installation process.
So, the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean build JWR66V brings a couple of improvements connected with the battery and the wireless charging. Now, users are able to charge the phone wirelessly even if it is turned off. The new build also lets all users enjoy Google Wallet even if the device is not rooted. Same happens with the IMDb app and the Dash Clock. The unofficial Android 4.3 Jelly Bean has some bugs like issues with the SIM unlock and with various apps like Titanium Backup, Apex launcher, HBO go and others.
The recent JWR66V build seems speedier than the previous Google Play leaked edition. What is more important is that the battery drain issues are fixed. There is a new “Samsung always available” option hidden in the menu. You can use the Google location services when the Wi-Fi is turned off. Enable the feature from Wifi -> Advanced settings in the menu. Overall, the latest leak is a more stable version. If you are impatient and want to risk, trying it on your device you’d better read the instructions first. Good luck!
