New Motorola device appears on video
After the last few days were rather controversial with the news of Motorola X hitting the web, now we see a brand-new Motorola Android device appear in a video. And no, it’s not Motorola X that we all expect to see sooner, or later, it is something new.
The device we are seeing is quite attractive in look. Its name for now is Motorola XT912A, which hints us that the handset may be related to the RAZR series in a way. The display is capacitive and 4 inches in size and the employed processor is Snapdragon S4 by Qualcomm. The other specs include GPU Adreno, 2GB of operative memory and a 2200mAh battery.
The design is rather different from the RAZR legacy. The form factor looks pretty interesting and the bezel is quite narrow – certainly a difference from the sharp edges of RAZR. The video of the device is below and you can see the notation saying ‘Motorola Confidential Property.’
Let’s remind you that the day before yesterday we saw a leaked blurry photo of Motorola X that employed some beasty yet controversial features. It was rumoured to have 5’’ or 4.7’’ Full HD display, a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 4i core that is similar to Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 when it comes to power, a 16MP rear and a 5MP front camera that would support Smart functions like those of Samsung Galaxy S4. However, these specs were found to be fake, as well as the picture, so some more normal were leaked – a 10MP camera and a dual-core processor by Qualcomm. Motorola X has nothing to do with the device on the video below, though.
We have no idea what this device is and when it will come out. Maybe it is an almost ready Motorola phone that will soon be released or a prototype of the future RAZR HD devices? We will be glad to read your opinion, so don’t hesitate to share it with us. You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
