New leak sheds more light on the specs of HTC M8
More details of the specs and the features of HTC M8
HTC One is one of the most successful devices in the history of the Taiwanese manufacturer. The phone was launched 10 months ago and grabbed the attention and the hearts of users right away. Its great set of advanced specs and capabilities combines with its unique and sleek design and premium body made of aluminum and the excellent camera seemed to satisfy the expectations of users.
Almost a year after the HTC One became official it is time to put the focus on the successor of the flagship with codename HTC M8. There is a lot of mystery around the device that even the various leaks from the last weeks could not clear out. One of the most speculated things is the name of the new flagship. There are rumors that it might be dubbed HTC Two but no official information has confirmed the speculations. A new leak about HTC M8 shared by @evleaks sheds more light on the specs of the upcoming smartphone. The tipster reveals that the new device will sport a 5-inches screen with a resolution of 1080p. This rumor seems logical, because the one of the latest trends in the digit world is the “invasion” of large sized devices. The HTC One sports a 4.7-inches screen. In terms of cameras, the HTC M8 will be provided with UltraPixel primary camera on the rare panel and a 2.1MP shooter for video calls. The expectations for the successor of the One include a quad-core processor with Snapdragon 800 chip. The CPU is more powerful than the processor of HTC One – Snapdragon 600. There will be 2GB RAM on board in HTC M8. Perhaps t is not a surprise that the new model will run on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box with the HTC Sense 6.0 UI on top of it.
There are still no leaked details about the design of the new phone. However the success of HTC One with its premium aluminum shell makes us confident to believe that we will see something similar for M8 as well. Another question that remains unanswered is whether the new model will feature a fingerprint scanner similar to HTC One Max.
