The New Facebook Beta Update for Windows Phone 8 and 7.x
New Facebook Beta Update for Windows Phone 8 and 7.x with Great Functionality
After the recent Facebook Beta update in the end of November, there came the time for a new update. That was actually a twofold one. The first variant for Windows Phone 8 came as 5.2.05. The version for Windows Phone 7.x came out as 3.2.0.4.
With the Facebook Beta update, the more exciting news came for users of Windows Phone 7.x devices. They are now getting all new improvements in notifications. They are also getting the full Live Tile functionality which was included in the November update for Windows Phone 8. The new changes are really important ones. They have made the Facebook Beta update pleasantly more usable.
Users of 7.x devices will not be able to use these features, because they were not included in their version update. But they should have just a little more patience. Joe Belfiore from Microsoft recently shared a promise on Twitter. He said the 7.x version will soon be getting these features. Now the fresh update of the Facebook Beta should have them included for 7.x device users as well.
In the Windows Phone 8 version of the Facebook Beta update there were no new features included. It seems to be a maintenance release. It includes improved performance and some bug fixes.
