New camera features for the newer Sony Xperia devices
Unlike many smartphone manufacturers who moved away from the direct cooperation with the software developers, Sony did just the opposite. Now, the Japanese company cooperates more than ever with third party developers with one clear mission – to improve the user experience and customer satisfaction. By doing this, Sony has made the devices friendlier and more acceptable than before. Sony has recently released its AOSP code for the newer Xperia devices.
Now, the company makes another move in the right direction. Together with the CyanogenMod team, Sony is working on special camera features which will be soon available for owners of newer Xperia devices like – T, V, Z, ZL, Z. An early update codenamed FXP 225 has already brought one of the features, but with the major update which is coming soon, plenty of other features are expected. Here are some of them.
All devices will have improved camera features in HDR mode, ISO modes and Scene modes. In addition to them, there will be better optical image stabilization in picture and video mode. The Xperia Z tablet will have an improved WiFi network options, Sony Xperia ZL, and Xperia Z tablet will get Fix Vol keys for recovery and some minor audio fix.
Besides these improvements, the developers are planning to add the HDR video function and the shutter speed in the near future. This will probably happen with the next major update. CyanogenMod team and Sony promise even more improvements and surprises in the future. Sony has established itself as one of the manufacturers offering high-quality devices and the company aims at providing the best possible features, which combined with their hardware will offer an outstanding performance.
