MWC start officially tomorrow – Samsung and others speak today
At last the big day has come! All our attention is fixed in Barcelona, where the Mobile World Congress for 2013 will take place. The big event is starting in a few hours, but some companies – Samsung, Alcatel etc. – were eager to show us what they have brought here. You won’t be surprised, because the rumours and leaks made sure to spoil the unveilings, but there are some details that may be interesting for you.
Now, Samsung is surely not good at keeping secrets. The announcement of Note 8.0 can’t have surprised you, if you are following the mobile news regularly. Now you can get the official specs and see the hands-on video bellow. The specs are: 8’’ display with 800×1280 resolution and a bit embarrassing, but still better than iPad mini 189 pixels per inch. The device sports an Exynos 4 processor – quad-core at 1.6GHz rate, accompanied by 2GB operative memory. You can decide – 32 or 64GB storage capacity and then add some more with the microSD.
The next device is the successor of Huawei Ascend P1 – Ascend P2. If you want a feathery light smartphone, this one is for you. You get 4.7’’ HD screen with 315 pixels per inch. The process is quad-core at 1.5GHz K3V2 SoC with LTE radio in it. It also sports 1GB of operative memory and 16GB storage capacity. The camera is 13MP and takes Full HD pics and HDR video. The best thing seems the 2420mAh battery. The device comes in black and white.
And we had a slight surprise from Alcatel with its One Touch Idol X – 5” screan and Jelly Bean are quite attractive , but it also sports 1.2GHz quad-core, 2000mAh battery, 16GB storage capacity and 13MP camera. See the hands-on video bellow.
