Motorola Moto X appears with a price at Best Buy
The Motorola Moto X has been a long-waited smartphone and it arrive on all major US carriers – AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile and even one regional one – US cellular. Today the Motorola Moto X has even showed up on Best Buy with two prices – with and without contract.
Up until now we have informed that the 16 GB model of the new Motorola Moto X will arrive at $199.99 with a two-year contract with all the major US carriers. At that point neither the pricing nor that it will be ever sold and when it will appear on Best Buy was not known. However, now since the phone is on their product page we can safely assume they are offering it.
The price of the new Motorola Moto X at Best Buy with a two-year contract with one of the major carriers like Verizon, Sprint, AT&T or T-Mobile is $199.99 but free of contract jumps to $699.99 which may not be the best deal available. It is better for you if you want the handset to go and buy it free of charge from the carriers themselves and it will be cheaper for you. For now the phone has appeared on the product list with the not so comfortable “coming soon” tag but we are expecting it somewhere around August 23rd as Verizon’s roadmap recently showed the unconfirmed date.
In the end let’s take a look at the specs again – 1.7GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 4.7-inch display with resolution of 1280 x 720 and 16 or 32GB of non-expandable internal storage. It also has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 10-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video capture, LTE, runs the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS and a 2200 mAh battery.
