Motorola Active Display update rolled out with speed improvements
This isn’t one of those cosmetic updates with few bug fixes
Motorola has given life to a brand new Active Display update that is currently available in the Google Play Store. The application for Android users, gives the power of knowledge at a glance for everyone who installs the setup. Basically, Active Display does just that- it displays everything you need to know exactly when you need it. The app quietly sends the information on the screen so users aren’t required to wake their devices in order to look at the time or to see their notifications. Now the Active Display app has been updated to its version 1.00.01 and the instalment weights 838k.
This isn’t one of those cosmetic updates with few bug fixes, but it brings major important changes and new features, amongst which is an improved speed that ‘is just about saving the user few extra seconds’.
The changelog features only one line and mentions the issue that has caused one or two seconds performance delay. So far, when users were swiping down to up in order to unlock from the Active Display screen, such delay has appeared. The new update guarantees that the issue has been completely fixed. Either way, who wouldn’t welcome an update that brings speed improvements with open arms?
It’s important to add that the setup has rolled out only for devices that run Android 4.4 KitKat, however Motorola has gained speed in terms of updating their devices to KitKat, so this wouldn’t be considered much of a problem. You can download the setup from Google Play Store.
The Active Display app ha 4.9 out of 5 stars rating by users and it’s highly recommended for owners of Motorola devices. Other pretty cool apps by Motorola to boost your Moto are Voice Command that allows users to have a voice access to their device’s core features and services, and Smartactions, that can extend the battery life and bases its work on your location.
