Moto X may arrive with a dual-core 1.7 GHz CPU and a 10 MP camera
The new device from Motorola, named Moto X is already confirmed. We have read many rumors and leaks past few weeks. Now, a new tweet update from a user connected with Evleaks reveals even more information about the incoming handset. The tweet itself contains just some of the main specs, which are expected to arrive in the smartphone. So, according to the leak, the Moto X will feature a dual-core MSM8960 Pro processor, clocked at 1.7 GHz with 2 GB of RAM and it will run Android 4.2.2 operating system. The display will have a resolution of 720p, and the internal storage will be 16 GB. The source also believes the handset will be equipped with a main 10-megapixel camera and a secondary 2 MP shooter.
We should remind you that the rumors about the future Moto X are quite controversial. Many believe that there will be more than one version of the phone, with different hardware and software features. Motorola’s CEO Dennis Woodside has recently commented over the rumors. He confirmed that the company is developing a “hero phone” which is going to be called Moto X. Unfortunately, he did not reveal anything else, leaving us guessing.
One is sure, the Moto X will be a high-end device, which is going to compete with HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4 and other models on the market. Among the rumored features of the Motorola’s phone is a 4.7-inch display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, while the device will be water and dust resistant with a score of IP57. There are many speculations about the operating system. While evleaks suggests Android 4.2.2, other sources indicate the unannounced 5.0 Key Lime Pie as a most probable operating system. In any case, the Moto X may have its appearance before the end of the summer.
