More rumors about Google X Phone: It arrives in AT&T stores in August
More and more information has been revealed for the future Google X Phone, although still unconfirmed from an official source. That’s why we will remind you to take all the information about X Phone with a grain of salt. First, the rumors say that the official launch date will be set for the first week of August. X Phone will arrive at AT&T who has reached an agreement with Google for a 3 –month exclusivity. Rumors say that the phone will be available at the other carriers in November. There is no information how X Phone will be offered on the international market.
Interesting information regarding certain features was also said. First, Google X Phone is expected to have an Always-on-Voice activation feature. If the publications are true, we can expect X Phone with the new Snapdragon 800 processor inside. It means that the X Phone will be a high- end device and not so budget friendly, unlike the previous indications placing it among mid- range devices. Just remember the fact that X Phone appeared on the AnTuTu benchmark in the mid- range category running Android 5.0.1. Another intriguing feature will be a predictive intelligence recognizing your intentions when you pick up the device. The phone may know what you want to see, depending on how you hold it – allowing launching an app, showing notifications, taking pictures or more.
According to the rumors, the Google X Phone won’t be sold as a hardware customization device, though users will be able to customize the color and the case material. The color and material combinations will be thousands – you can choose a case made of plastic, metal, carbon fiber and wood and pick up the color you like. As all rumors remain unconfirmed for now, we will have to wait for some official announcement in the coming weeks.
