Microsoft gives FREE Lumia 1020 or 1520 when you trade-in iPhone 4, 4S or Galaxy S2
Free Lumia 1520 or Lumia 1020 or up to $250 credit in exchange for an old iPhone or Galaxy
Microsoft has promised many device specific deals as a part of its trade-in program and the first one is already here. Redmond gives a flagship Windows Phone (Nokia Lumia 1020 or Lumia 1520) for free when users return their old Apple iPhone 4, 4s or Samsung Galaxy S2. To promote the offer, Microsoft has created a really interesting image showing Apple and Android logos in the trash.
This exclusive offer is valid until March 2, and there are several conditions that need to be met in order to qualify for the program. It applies only for selected Microsoft stores in the US and Puerto Rico and it is not valid online. The old smartphones must be fully functional, in good conditions, without missing or broken parts. Original accessories and chargers must be also provided with the handsets. If the phones are approved for trade-in, users can get a Windows Phone for free with a new two year contract on AT&T.
Nokia Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1020 are the latest Windows Phone flagships. They are both unique devices – the first is the largest quad-core Windows Phone, while the second features an impressive 41MP PureView camera for astonishing pictures and videos. So, if you have an old phone and want to try something new, you’d better find the nearest MS store (where the offer is available) and get a new device in exchange. The other option is to get in-store credit, up to $250. Though the offer is really attractive, you may have some issues finding an available store, as Microsoft doesn’t have so many physical stores.
