Microsoft Buys iPhones for $200+!
It seems that Microsoft wants to switch roles – from a manufacturer of mobile devices to a superhero. Maybe the plan for 2014 is to save the world from the bad guys? At least that’s what we see from the newest Microsoft offer – bring in your iPhone and they will give you at least $200 for it! We hope that after they collect enough iPhones, they will dispose of them properly. We suggest burning, covering with acid or, for peace of mind – throwing them in an active volcano.
The fun part aside, Microsoft will give you the value of your iPhone in a gift card, which you can use in each of its brick-and-mortar stores to purchase items. So if you have made the mistake to purchase an iPhone 4S or iPhone 5, it is not late to correct it by selling it to Microsoft until November 3. And even if you do not like the current selection of Windows Phones and other Microsoft devices, perhaps you will be allowed to use the gift card to buy one of the 6 new devices that Nokia will release next month. One of these is the monstrous Nokia Lumia 1520, which has a 6’’ display, so you will surely find something interesting. After all, even a USB Potato is better than iPhone, isn’t it?
In fact, this is not a new idea as Microsoft already run a similar campaign, buying iPads for minimum $200. It seems that Good Guy Microsoft is really motivated to sell more and more of its products, even if that requires stealing the clients of other companies. Not that we are against it, as long as it turns against Samsung (although who would exchange his Samsung Galaxy S4 for a Windows Phone?). However, you should better hurry up and get rid of the brick in your pocket, then you can get a decent Nokia Lumia or something else with the money.
