LG Optimus G2 seen in a new leaked image
We heard a lot of speculations about the future Nexus 5 phone past few weeks. Now, another yet to be announced phone has leaked. The unnamed device is supposedly the LG Optimus G2, whose pictures were already seen earlier this month. On the latest leaks, we could see just the device kernel crash screen, which doesn’t tell us much, except that fact this is exactly the new Optimus G2. How do we know that? Well, if you look at the text on the black screen closely, you will note the email address G2-SW-Stability@lge.com. This is an internal LG email user for collecting the crash reports, and the address starts with G2, which is clear indication telling the story of the LG Optimus G2.
This device under development could be also connected to the next Nexus 5. As you know, the previous Nexus 4 was based on the LG Optimus G, so following same patters it won’t be a big surprise if Nexus 5 have similar look to the leaked images. At this point, we don’t know anything about the G2 specifications. There are rumors saying the phone will have a Snapdragon 800, a quad-core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz. The suggested display is 5.5-inches with 1080p resolution.
According to the benchmark results, the next flagship of the Korean company will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean but the information is worth nothing since has not been confirmed yet. Yes, it is looks like the Optimus G2 is on the way, but we will need to wait to hear an official statement from the company.
