LG Optimus F3Q QWERTY handset arriving at T-Mobile
The slide-out keyboard handsets with Android haven’t extinct as species yet
Another alliance has been formed. Apparently, T-Mobile and LG have joined forces to launch a full QWERTY slide-out device best known as the LG Optimus F3Q. Evleaks have been true to their name as they already leaked photos of the upcoming device way ahead of its actual launching date.
Apparently, the slide-out keyboard handsets with Android haven’t extinct as species yet, and we’re about to witness their rebirth in the face of Optimus F3Q in the near future. Of course, an actual release date hasn’t been revealed yet, but the leaking source has proven to be accurate many times, so the device will launch for sure and it will be sooner than later. Overall, no more details have leaked, however the photos suggest some of the specifications based on pure logic. According to the image, Optimus F3Q appears with a metallic QWERTY keyboard with two buttons on its side and it obviously has a front-facing shooter. Now, when it comes to T-Mobile launching mid-range Optimus handsets, the previous release LG Optimus F3 had a 4-inch touchscreen display and ran Android 4.1 on a dual-core processor. Furthermore, it offered a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2460mAh battery.
It’s safe to assume that the upcoming LG Optimus F3Q will offer improved specs that will top its older sibling. For all the QUERTY fans out there who aren’t satisfied with the current selection of Android phones with a featured keyboard, the upcoming device is certainly some great news. We’re talking about really good quality here, so Optimus F3Q would be a good choice.
But don’t get so hype. Remember the promised Motorola Droid 5 with QWERTY keyboard that never came to life despite all the evidences for its existence? There’s always the possibility for Optimus F3Q to be a render for a device that might never see the light of day.
Either way, in case the device arrives in near future, T-Mobile will most likely offer it for approximately $200 off-contract. What do you think about the Optimus F3Q? Are you interested in having an Android slider?
