LG Nexus 4 benchmarked; Android 4.2 confirmed
The LG Nexus 4, under the codename Mako, has appeared in the GLBenchmark scoreboard, placed at the top 4th place, only behind the Pantech Vega IM-A850, Asus PadFone 2 and the Xiaomi MI-2. All of these, like the Nexus 4, have a Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset with the Adreno 320 GPU. The Nexus 4 got 30.4 frames per second in the offscreen 1080p Egypt test, which coincides with what we achieved on the Optimus G in our review.
The published information on the GLBenchmark website also cites Android 4.2 as the OS running on the Nexus 4, which confirms the next Nexus will come with it out of the box.
