In a recent interview, LG officials have told that the company expects LG G2 to give the needed extra sales boost for Q3 and Q4. Actually, LG had pretty good sales during the first two quarters of the year. According to the reports, LG has sold more than 10 million units for each quarter for the first time in its history.
So, the LG G2 could be the next big hit of the Korean manufacturer. It has everything needed to succeed on the market. First, it has a unique design. Its volume rocker is put on the back, together with the power button. It will have a powerful 2.3 GHz quad-core processor and a gorgeous 5.2 inch screen.
LG will hold an event on August 7 in New York. At this event we will probably see both the LG G2 and the LG Optimus L9 II. Earlier, LG sent invitations to the press where the letter G and the number 2 were highlighted. There is no doubt that the LG G2 will appear in the Big Apple on August 7th. However, it is possible the device to be launched earlier in South Korea, even this month. The LTE-A enabled version of the phone is expected to arrive at SK Telecom – the carrier launched world’s first LTE-Advanced network.
