LG G2 soon to be officially released for sale
LG G2 is an eagerly expected device and there is now more of an official statement to when will it be launching in the different countries. LG made the announcement early this morning.
As you know the device has more innovative and daring design than most devices out there even more than the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the last iPhone. This is so because LG made the decision to place the volumes and lock key on the back of the phone just under the camera.
According to LG this will be both more comfortable for the users because they do not have to go through the entire width of the device just to unlock it and it provides the needed space in order to make even thinner bezel.
The 5.2 inch screen offers edge-to-edge viewing with 1080 x 1920 resolution and is supposed to be the first smartphone globally to launch with the Snapdragon 800 (we will see if Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will overtake it in time).
However, there is something that Samsung is not expected to have in their next phablet, which LG has already implemented. This is the OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) to keep videos not shaky and to make them look like shot on a tripod.
But that’s not all 1080 x 1920 at 60fps and 24 bit/192kHz Hi-Fi playback brings studio quality sound to the video playback, which is really fantastic for the lovers of making amateur short length movies. Of course, the camera will support low-light shooting.
Here is the official statement from LG
“The positive market feedback after the initial launch in Korea proved to us that the LG G2’s consumer-oriented innovation does resonate with customers. The LG G2 was developed as a global device for a global audience, beyond the scope of any smartphone we’ve introduced to date. I’m confident consumers will see the difference.”-Dr. Jong-seok Park, president, CEO, LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company
