LG G2 arriving for everyone except the UK
A few days ago one of the now smaller manufacturers LG announced their latest flagship device called LG G2. The new device seems to have all the needed characteristics to rival all the new Samsung and Apple handsets. However, there seems to be a problem and a release for the UK market could be a while yet.
After the handset was officially announced to the whole world and it has some pretty descent specs and overall look and design it will arrive on the US market directly after it is released and this will probably happen later this month. While some of the UK carriers have announced that they would stock the device as soon as possible there can be quite some wait until that happens.
The major mobile device retailer Carphone Warehouse has listed the LG G2 in the coming soon category but it says that changes may be expected. This sure should happen as LG probably will want to have the device available for as many regions as possible before Samsung release their new flagship Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Otherwise we would be expecting the LG G2 in October for the UK market.
Reports that have come out recently suggest that the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 may come to all the regions as early as the end of September and this is not quite working for LG if their device is released in October. To quickly remind you the device features the 2.2GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with the 5.2-inch Full HD display. The Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system with 2GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel rear facing camera paired with a 2.1-megapixel unit around the front running. These are only of a few of the new features that the new device will offer in comparison to Samsung and Apple.
