LG G Flex is up for sells in the US for a little more than $1000
LG G Flex is one of the most exciting and interesting devices in the tech world today. It boasts a decent package of specs, unique curved design and screen with large size and the ability to flex slightly. The advantages of the handset are numerous. Fortunately users that want to own the extraordinary device will soon be able to purchase it even outside South Korea. Recently the device paid a visit to FCC where it was approved for sells through carriers in the US. But before the G Flex make its way to the mobile operators; it is already listed for sales in some retailers. As expected the price of G Flex is rather high. The online trader Overseas Electronics has officially launched the bended phone with price tag of $1050. It is unlocked and according to the description listed for the device, it provides an LTE-A support. The bands it will work on are 1800 and 850. If this turns out to be true, the G Flex will not be compatible with the bands of the US carriers. Everything shows that the G Flex listed for sells by the retailer are more likely imported units from Korea. We will have to wait more to see the especially manufactured G Flex for the US market.
Another retailer that offers the device is Negri Electronics. It has listed the phone for pre-orders for some time now. It is priced 1109.5 but no information about the shipping is available. Customers of Negri Electronics will have the option to choose among two variants of G Flex – purposed for the KT Telecom or for the operator SK Telecom.
Rumors say that G Flex will be launched by several US carriers, including Sprint, Verizon and AT&T in the beginning of 2014. The variant of the model is expected to support the bands of the operators. It will be available for sells unlocked and with subsidized price, so if you are eager to own the G Flex, but you are not willing to pay 1000+ USD dollars right now, better wait a little longer.
