Lenovo’s IdeaTab A1000 and A3000 available
Not long time ago, two new devices appeared on the FCC listing and they were introduced at the Mobile World Congress. Now, Lenovo makes both 7-inch tablets named IdeaTab A1000 and IdeaTab A3000 available. Considering the price levels, these are relatively affordable low/mid-range devices. The first model – Lenovo IdeaTab A1000 costs $189, while A3000 is priced at $229.
Lenovo IdeaTab A1000 is equipped with a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600p and a dual-core MediaTek 8317 processor, clocked at 1.2 GHz with 1 GB of RAM. The battery has a capacity of 3500 mAh, allowing up to 8 hours of web browsing on a WiFi connection. Running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the tablet has an internal storage of 16 GB, expandable via microSD card up to 32 GB. There is also a front facing camera with a resolution of 0.3-megapixels. The tablet is available in two options – in black and white color. Priced at $189, users who order the IdeaTab A1000 until June 12 will get a $40 price-cut, or they will pay just $149 which is a pretty good deal. If you want to take the offer, just enter the code “HOMEPCDEAL” while placing your order.
With a Cortex A9 1.2 GHz single core processor with 1 GB of RAM, the IdeaTab A3000 is more expensive than the first tablet. Priced at $299, the tablet doesn’t have much improvements – it has the same display, battery and internal storage. The difference is that users can expand the memory up to 64 GB, and there is a rear 5-megapixel shooter in addition to the 0.3 MP front-facing one. The IdeaTab A3000 is available in black and there is no promotion attached, making the device not so attractive. You can order both new IdeaPad tablets via Lenovo’s official web store.
