Samsung Galaxy S5 will be released with two versions according to Kuo
There are only few more weeks until the official announcement of the next flagship Samsung Galaxy S5, according to rumors. The closer we are getting to the big event, the more speculations, predictions and leaks we are hearing and exploring about the new high-end smartphone by the Korean manufacturer. One of the most successful analysts in the digit world is the KFI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. His prognosis for the extraordinary feature TouchID fingerprint scanner in Apple iPhone 5S turned out to be true along with other forecasts he made about the Apple’s devices. Now the analyst revealed his predictions about the Samsung Galaxy S5. He shares that he expects to see to versions of the flagship – a Standard and a Prime model. They will sport similar designs with panels made of high-quality plastic. The main differences between both models will be in their hardware. The more advanced versions, the Prime Galaxy S5 will work with an octa-core Exynos 5430 CPU (32-bit) with 20nm. The Standard version of the phone will arrive either with an octa-core Exynos 5422 processor (32-bit) with 28nm process or with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 28nm.
The hardware will be only one of the differences between the models. According to Kuo the Standard Galaxy S5 will be equipped with a 5.2-inches screen with 1080p. This means that it will provide a pixel density of 423ppi. The Prime Galaxy S5 will also work with a 5.2-inches display. However its resolution will be the impressive 2560x1440p. The pixel density of the more advanced version will be the amazing 565ppi.
Both models of the next generation flagship by Samsung will feature great packages of specs including 3GB RAM, fingerprint scanners, 3D gesture support etc. The primary camera will be with 16MP. The battery of Galaxy S5 will be with a capacity of 2850mAh.
We are looking forward to find out whether Kuo is right in his predictions. Hopefully Samsung will announce the long anticipated smartphone(s) within few weeks.
