The rumors and leaks about the new device Motorola Moto G that is yet to be announced appear more and more on the web. Just 2 days ago we shared with you another proof for the existence of the handset that consisted of the name Moto G listed for a brief moment in the official website for Motorola. Thanks to the famous tipster @evleaks we finally get some more information about the specs of the mystery device by the company.
Moto G will feature a 4.7-inches screen with a resolution of 720p. It will be powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Snapdragon S4 Pro chip. The built-in storage in the smartphone will be either 8GB or 16GB. The new model will run on Android OS. The primary camera of the phone is with 8MP on the back. The battery of Moto G is manufactured by LG and is with a capacity of 1950mAh. The so described specs give us a better idea for the low-end device that is rumored to be the cheaper version of the flagship Moto X. When the high-end handset was introduced in the summer, the company revealed its idea for launching a budget variant of the phone that will be available worldwide. The first rumors for the existence of the device suggested that the name of the phone is Motorola DVX and it will arrive with interchangeable back plates. Later on reliable sources revealed that the Motorola DVX and Moto G are the same model.
The price of the new handset is expected to be zero dollars with a signed two year contract. Those who want to buy the Moto G unlocked will pay relatively low price according to rumors. The exact numbers are not revealed yet. There isn’t further information for the release date of the handset yet. We are eager to know more about the capabilities of the budget variant of Moto X.
