iWatch may be more health oriented
The coming months will be filled with news about smartwatches coming from well-known manufacturers who recognize the watches as the way to go. Of course the Apple iWatch is also coming soon and it might just have some Nike FuelBand goodness to it.
For a long time there have been rumors about the Apple iWatch and why such device may come up against the Samsung Galaxy Gear which is also arriving but much earlier this time than the Apple device. There are some persistent rumors that claim that Apple has hired fitness expert Jay Blahnik, who has been helping Nike with the FuelBand. This may hint that the Apple device that’s coming in next year may be health orientated. Tim Cook, Apple CEO, tipped the market to “explode” in the future and he might be waiting for the right moment to start the “explosion” of the market. He continued by saying that the market is a bit all over the place but it will “become clearer” over time and we are certainly expecting to see what is the right time for apple to launch their device according to them.
When it comes to other smartwatches they are rumored to be a simple extension of the smartphone but Apple is rumored to be designing a product that is more or less focused on the biometric security and other healthcare features. There is a lot more to come from Apple and we are still expecting the Samsung Galaxy Gear to come up first and show us what it has to offer, however, we are sure that the new smartwatch if it is different enough from the Samsung Galaxy Gear will provide a unique experience and will draw enough customers to make it a hit like all other devices.
