iPhone Chat Perf offers smell factor
Clever and wondrous ideas come from the tech world. It can be a new gadget or a smart application. Today we’d like to share one such – the iPhone Chat Perf device and app which offers users the smell factor.
Rocket News24 are reporting that the Japanese company Chaku Perfume Co. Ltd has developed a system that uses a device called ‘Chat Perf’ and an application that can send smells across the airwaves when couple together. Clever!
When attached to the bottom of the handset this Chat Perf device turns to an atomizer and a smell tank, which once fixed to the iPhone emits a smell that can be actually sent to another handset, using the same attachable device and a puff of spray.
This new invention can have endless possibilities and applications. How about a restaurant attracting visitors right from the street, sending out aromas of their food? Or, how would you feel to sense the perfume of your loved one, even if (s)he’s not around?!
People like their various scents of perfumes, aftershaves, or deodorants. With this in mind the product could become quite successful in foreign markets. The company is said to be now planning on taking their invention overseas.
The product is expected to hit the market during the fall and will cost 4980 yen or $62.25, but it remains to be seen how successful it will be.
