iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 again with up-front prices on T-Mobile
Only a few weeks ago T-Mobile put the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 on promotion and removed the up-front payment from the devices with the possible plan to run the promotion through the whole summer. However, it has now been concluded that the iPhone 4S and the iPhone 5 will be removed from the promotion and the up-front price will appear again.
From T-Mobile have announced that “As is the nature of promotions, pricing moves are temporary” and it seems that it will be the end for the iPhone promotion. So starting from Saturday the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 will be removed but the iPhone 4 will remain on promotion. This automatically means the iPhone 5 will go back to $145.99 with monthly payments for 24 months of $21, which does not make much difference because with the zero-down promotion the iPhone 5 cost is $27 per month which in the end is just $1.99 less than the up-front payment system.
So this means that there is no particular reason to go to T-Mobile to buy Apple device because you are not going to save a lot of money right now. Besides, with all the new devices coming out now and the iPhone 5S and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 expected right around the corner next month in the beginning and at the end of the month this is quite frankly the worst time to buy iPhone or any device for that matter. There will probably be huge price cuts after all the devices and come out in the beginning of September and before Christmas time. So if you are planning to renew your device and you do not really to spend too much money you had better wait a few months and you can expect the prices of the device that you want to drop.
