iOS 7 will not appear until September 18th
The iOS 7 has been rumored for a long time. The official release changed its date a couple of times and the early information was that the iOS 7 will be available right on the launch of the iPhone 5S. However, today this information was clearly set apart as incorrect as no we know that the release date for the general public for the iOS 7 will be September 18th.
This gives rise to some interesting questions. For example when will be the release of the new iPhones since the release of the iOS 7 will be September 18th.
For now there is not any clear information around this question; however, Apple says that it expects the iOS 7 to be downloaded by “hundreds of millions” of people.
As far as compatibility the new operating system will be compatible with “iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, iPad mini and iPod touch 5th gen.” For now we know that the improvements that the new software will bring will not all be available for older devices. For example, Siri improvements work only on devices that have Siri and so on. Of course this does not mean that there will not be any improvements for let’s say iPhone 4 it is just the scale will be different.
Apple says that iOS 7 supports “over 200 features”, which include the completely renewed UI, the bran new share menu, AirDrop, new camera features, new “textured ringtones”, better multitasking, better battery management, and Siri improvements.
There is no doubt that the new iOS 7 will be brand new and amazing, and it will run on a much better processor there is now only one question to be answered, though: Will it satisfy the users and will they like it?
