Huawei claims the market with 8-core processor in Ascend P2
The Consumer Electronic Show that took place a month ago was a great success for Huawei, who captivated the high-technology world with their latest projects – Ascend Mate and Ascend D2. However, the Mobile World Congress is slowly approaching and the company is rumoured to have a great surprise for its fans and all the lovers of new technologies.
Recently there have been rumours about the new Ascend P2 that is certainly the most interesting project of the company at present. The last hours have been significant for spreading the talks as some of the smartphone specifications leaked in the web, along with a couple of pictures of the new device.
The product is expected to be with a 4.7’’ Full HD capacitive screen, 13MP rear camera, 2GB of operative memory, quite a long-lasting 3000 mAh battery and Jelly Bean. However, the most exciting characteristics are two – its CPU and its price.
These two characteristics are said, if really true, to hit the rivals in the ground. Because Ascend P2 may come out with an 8-core CPU! Imagine this in combination with the ‘Project Butter’ and the 2 GB RAM! And all this, as the rumour says, at the unbelievable price of $480? Can this turn out to be real? We can only hope for it, in contrast to the other smartphone companies.
