HTC Zara and HTC Zara mini with new names, HTC Desire 601 and HTC Z3
HTC Zara is the upcoming smartphone from the mobile giant that will look like a hybrid between both flagships of the company, HTC One and HTC Desire. The stylish look of the new handset will resemble the body of HTC One and boast specs, similar to Desire. The popular name of the smartphone is HTC Zara. What the latest rumors say is that the new phone will be dubbed HTC Desire 601. It will be provided with a display with 4.5-inches and 540×960 pixels.
Desire 601 will arrive with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS preinstalled with the characteristic for HTC Sense 5.5 UI. The processor of the new HTC device will be dual-core, clocked at 1.2GHz. HTC Desire 601 will arrive with 1GB RAM and 8GB built-in memory. Owners of HTC Desire 601 will be able add up more storage if they like, via microSD card. The main 8MP will be among of the key features of Desire 601, especially if it meets the expectations for UltraPixel technology. The new smartphone is purposed for one of the biggest carriers in the US, Sprint. Rumors say that the Desire 601 will be officially launched until the end of 2013, but no exact dates are revealed yet.
HTC Desire 601 will not be arriving alone. Rumors say that a small-sized version of the smartphone is getting ready for announcement. According to recent tweets from the tipster @evleaks the mini smartphone will be called HTC Z3. It is expected to be equipped with smaller display than HTC Desire 601. The 4.3-inches screen will have a resolution of 480x800p. It will be powered by a dual-core CPU with 1GHz speed and 512 RAM. The mini version of HTC Desire 601 will assure 8GB internal memory with the option to use microSD card for additional storage. The small-sized device will work over the Android OS. HTC Z3 will be armored with 5MP camera set on the rare panel and 1.2MP front shooter. It will support dual-SIM and will arrive officially in Q4, like its bigger sibling.
