HTC will show the HTC Butterfly S and HTC Desire 600 on June 19
According to an invite sent to the press, HTC is going to show two new models at an event taking place in Taiwan on June 19. Though the Desire 600 specs were already introduced, the HTC Butterfly S phone is still in the rumor stage.
HTC Desire 600 is a dual SIM device, equipped with a quad-core Snapdragon processor at 1.2 GHz with 1 GB of RAM. It comes with an internal memory of 8 GB, a 4.5-inch qHD display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels and a 1860 mAh battery. HTC Desire has an 8-megapixel main shooter and a 1.3 MP secondary front-facing camera. The phone is also equipped with some of the HTC One’s features including BlinkFeed and BoomSound speakers. BlinkFeed feature brings you many interesting news from more than 1400 sources, while the sound system consist of two front facing speakers with built-in amplifiers for a great audio performance. According to the information, the future phone is going to run Android 4.1.2 or 4.2 Jelly Bean. At the moment, there is no information about pricing or availability, so we will need to wait until June 19 to learn more.
The second new handset, HTC Butterfly S, lacks details and there is no official confirmation regarding its specifications. We think the device will be a successor of the previous model and there are some rumors saying that the HTC Butterfly S will have a larger battery, a microSD slot and a faster Snapdragon processor. The other rumored specs include a 5-inch Full HD display and an UltraPixel camera.
