HTC to release a 6-inch HTC One Max in September?
Sources close to HTC revealed for Mobile Geeks that the 6-inch HTC One Max will be released in September this year. Actually, the new ultra big phone will be completely different from what we have now in the HTC One. The HTC One Max is expected to have a 6-inch display with 1080p resolution, a quad-core Snapdragon processor at 2.3 GHz and a huge 3200 mAh battery. The phablet will have a 64 GB of internal storage and 2 GB of RAM, the source explained.
So, the Samsung Galaxy Note family will soon face a big competition. Besides LG Optimus Vu and the Sony’s new Xperia Z Ultra, the Taiwanese HTC will join the big game with their 6-inch One Max. If the information is correct, HTC One Max and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be launched at the same time in September. Samsung will probably announce its product at the beginning of the month at the IFA event. We don’t have information about the possible announcement of the HTC One Max, but we know that the device will offer some unique and attractive features.
The phone will support handwriting input – a feature already available in the Galaxy Note and expected in the upcoming Sony Xperia Z Utlra. HTC will probably include stylus support – a feature appeared last in 2011 in the 7-inch tablet HTC Flyer.
Meanwhile, HTC is going to release its HTC One Mini and Mobile Geeks revealed some of its features. The HTC One Mini will have a 4.3 inch 720p display, a dual-core 1.4 GHz processor and 16 GB of internal memory. The device will be announced in the next two weeks, Mobile Geeks confirmed.
