HTC suggest that buyer’s remorse will come to the Samsung Galaxy S5 owners on 25 March
Samsung’s Galaxy S5 owners to experience buyer’s remorse on March 25 according to HTC
As it seems HTC is viciously marketing against Samsung’s new Galaxy S5, which was unveiled at the MWC 2014 on 24 February. HTC quickly posted on twitter the image above, which reads:
“Buyers’ remorse: Coming soon to S5 owners” and on the bottom right corner you see the date March 25.
It seems that according to HTC customers buying the S5 will feel remorseful after the successor of HTC One (whatever its name is i.e. HTC One 2, HTC One+, HTC M8) comes to the stage.
It is a pretty need jab at the Korean manufacturer, however, the facts are that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will not be out for sale until April. So, who will feel remorseful on 25 March is unclear because there won’t be anyone, who has bought the smartphone yet (excluding pre-orders).
The Galaxy S5, on the other hand is certainly not backing down and has quite a few features to boast with and to challenge the successor of HTC One.
First of all it is waterproofed and runs on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat with a new version of TouchWiz UI and introduces a built-in finger scanner plugged in the home button. It also has a heart rate monitor, which is right under the 16MP rear camera. S5 has a 5.1-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, and will be powered by either a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, or an octa-core Exynos 5420 CPU.
The not-yet-announced One supposedly features a 1080p display of around 5 inches and Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6.0 UI will be driving the hardware. A quad-core Qualcomm processor and a twin-sensor rear camera is rumoured as well. It is highly doubted that the HTC will be waterproofed because of a few leaked images that suggest that this will not be an option.
