Recent leak reveals that HTC M8 will boast 1920x1080p resolution
HTC One is among the most popular models of HTC that brought real success to the company. Therefore it is not a surprise that the expectations towards the successor of HTC One are sky high. The interest of the HTC One+ (or HTC Two) with codename HTC M8 is growing rapidly with every next week that gets us closer to the unveiling of the smartphone. The announcement of the new flagship is expected to happen around March – April, when the HTC One celebrates a one year anniversary since its debut.
HTC has not confirmed any details about the revealing of the phone. All we have is rumors and leaks and now is the time to present you with the latest gossips about the upcoming device. The source of the information is a User Agent Profile in the official HTC website. The HTC M8 is mentioned there but only with a few specs revealed. The User Agent Profile confirms that phone will arrive with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. This is the same resolution of the current flagship HTC One. Another interesting thing about HTC M8 is that it will not feature any physical buttons on its panel. The smartphone will be controlled and used via virtual buttons only which is not something completely new in the digit world. Some of the latest models smartphones such as Nexus phones and handsets from the Xperia line also boast attractive designs with no physical buttons on the bodies.
This is all the information revealed by the leak. The previous rumors about HTC M8 suggested that it will sport a 4.9 or 5-inches display. It will work with the same chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 that powers models like LG G2, Nokia Lumia 1520 and LG Nexus 5 among others. The primary camera of the device will be Ultrapixel. There are rumors that M8 will be provided with a fingerprint scanner but no significant proves have backed up this gossip yet.
