HTC M8 all on-screen buttons confirmed in new leak
On screen keys and a microSD slot confirmed for HTC M8
There will be a major change for HTC in 2014. Based on multiply leaks and rumors we can conclude that the next flagship model, the successor to the HTC One codenamed M8, will come with all on-screen keys and a couple of others hardware and software goodies, becoming a really attractive device. HTC M8 will be crucial for the future of the company and that’s why HTC is so cautious in every detail and design decision.
First of all, @evleaks once again confirmed all on-screen keys, a decision that is likely to be warm-welcomed by HTC fans around the globe. HTC One was a really great phone, but its button configuration upset many customers. HTC logo did nothing, while the menu button was missing. There was also a three-dot button below the screen, wasting space. All these defects would be eliminated in the HTC M8, a phone that would run Android 4.4 KitKat allowing all on-screen buttons.
Alongside the all on-screen buttons, HTC will include a microSD slot. It would finally allow users to add more storage space in addition to the original capacity. An SD slot is becoming a necessity, because the new apps and games require more storage space. At the same time, that would decrease the retail price of a phone with less in-built storage.
HTC M8 a.k.a HTC Two is expected to be announced in late February or in March. According to the leaks, it would be a phone with great specs and design. There will be an aluminum unibody with front-facing speakers. The processor is said to be a quad-core backed by 2 GB of RAM. HTC increases the screen size to 5 inches and puts Sense 6.0 on top of Android 4.4 KitKat.
