HTC Desire 601 officially debuts in the mobile world
In the beginning of the summer we heard the first rumors about the plans of HTC to release a new handset that will get the looks of HTC One and the specs of the HTC Desire phones. The time has passed quickly and after numerous rumors, we can finally see in real the new smartphone by the company. Until recently we knew the phone under the name HTC Zara. Just days ago, the rumors about its real name and soon arrival suggested HTC Desire 601. The company officially announced the device few hours ago and its name really is HTC Desire 601. Along with the name, we learned the specs of the device in details. What does Desire 601 have to bring for mobile users?
HTC is adding up another Android running device to its family. The Desire 601 will work over the 4.2.2 Jelly Bean version with the native of the company user interface Sense 5.0. The handset will be equipped with a 4.5-iches screen qHD with a resolution of 540x960p. Under the hood, Desire 601 will work with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and Snapdragon 400 chipset. The device arrives with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. If it seems too little for you, you can add up more internal memory via microSD card. In terms of camera, Desire 601 brings a 5MP shooter with non-UltraPixel AutoFocus technology. It can record 1080p video. The front-facing shooter is VGA. HTC Desire 601 supports a lot of modern connectivity features, like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and LTE 4G.
Rumors say that the new HTC device will be up for sells in October. It will be introduced to markets in Africa, Europe, Middle East and may be the USA. The price of the new handset is still not announced. It is a middle-rang phone that brings everything that a mobile user needs during the day. It will come in three color versions, red, black and white.
