Google Wallet app already available for iPhone
A roll-out of a massive update of the Google Wallet app has began that fundamentally changes the purpose and functionality of the app and turns it focus away from being a simple easy to pay service like PayPal and turns it into something much more. The NFC payments are no longer the center of attention and now the app makes users able to store loyalty car information and various offers.
Google has released their paying service app for the iPhone. As surprising as this might seem the version of the app is not 1.0. The app store says that the version is at version 2.0.10206, which puts it close to even with the Android version. The iPhone version now includes all the services that you would otherwise expect from an Android device. Sending and receiving money, storing loyalty cards, storing offers and being notified based on you location when a saved offer can be used nearby.
This is great for all the iPhone users, who have been waiting for the app to come to the App Store. They will surely like the app and its functions. although there is one function that the iPhone version does not support.
You can’t pay using NFC in stores. But this is simply because the iPhone does not have NFC,yet. It may never adopt the hardware and it would have been a tremendous surprise for Google to have included this service.
Overall, you should be able to download the app already and enjoy its functions and compatibility with your device. Besides, it is really easy to use and can save you a lot of hassle and time shopping around otherwise. The app that has huge popularity in the Google Play Store is now coming to the App Store and it seems that it will gather the same interest as before.
