Google Nexus 7 arrives later this month?
New report about the future Nexus 7 tablet by Google came from Asia. According to the publication, the device will be launched by the end of this month. First, the Nexus 7 will be available in Taiwan, while the other countries will get the device soon after.
The source reveals even the price range of the new Nexus. The author says that there will be two versions with different internal memory capacity. The 16 GB version of the Nexus 7 will cost $299. The 32 GB tablet is priced at $299. Both models will come with LTE support.
In Economic Daily can be found more details about the future product. First, it is called “the new Nexus 7”. The new Nexus 7 is rumored to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5GHz. In another newspaper from Taiwan we could see a product named as Asus K009, which was spotted earlier at the FCC listing. The Asus K009 was spotted with the Nexus branding. That means, these specifications could refer to the Nexus 7.
The Asus K009 (Nexus 7) has a JDI liquid crystal panel. It has 2 GB of RAM and internal storage of 32 GB. There will be two cameras on-board – the main on the back is with a capacity of 5 MP, while the secondary is just 1.2 MP. The tablet is LTE and NFC enabled and has WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity.
There is no information about the availability of microSD slot. Google has been criticized by many people about the first-gen Nexus 7 tablet. Let’s remind you that the first version of the Nexus 7 came with just 8 GB and no possibility for an expansion.
