Google I/O 2013: Summary of Day Two
After day one of Google I/O 2013 introduced us to all the new and exciting innovations and features that the company is developing, we were eager to dig deeper into the specifics of the upgrades and services that were announced. Day two was planed with this purpose.
Google has some great plans to develop a single integrated platform that satisfies different needs and interests of their users, who will be using the variety of the Google products by default. Among the interesting features that grabbed our attention is the project for Android to develop features that should be accessible for people with low-vision or blindness. The plans of Google are to integrate the project in Google Maps and many other products.
The conference is purposed especially for developers, therefore there were many Google employees and specialists who were actively interacting with the participants of the event. There were many interesting and inspiring discussions of new ideas and features. The sessions and the events at Google I/O 2013 went really great. The only exception was the Wi-Fi connectivity that was just not working well, because it seemed that there was no enough radio spectrum to accommodate all the devices. Other than that, this conference was one of the most productive, inspiring and exciting events in the digit world.
During day two, we got the chance to learn more about Google Maps and its possibilities to use recommendations of Google+ as one of the services. There are improvements in Google Wallet. Now users can send money through email. Among the most fascinating new services that Google announced is the Google Music All Access. It enables users to share songs to the network Google+ and to share videos on YouTube. Google+ becomes more and more enriched with the improvements in the areas of photo editing and messaging.
What did day three bring for the participants of the conference? Stay with us and you soon you will find out.
