Google Glass September update XE9 rolls-out
Google is definitely keeping its promise to enrich the Google Glass with regular awesome updates, rolling out almost every month. September is not an exception! If you own Google Glass you will really enjoy the update that comes from Google with some improvements and new features. If you don’t have Google Glass unit yet, don’t miss out to read about the new capabilities. The new update is named XE9. Some of the highlights in the improved software include: the Play videos in search, new Google Now cards, more reliable Search, support for Google Apps account, MyGlass app and Vignattes among others.
The features of XE9 explored in depth will bring you a new user experience with the Glass, with the enriched Google Now cards that now include: Transit cards that shows you the nearby mass transit directions, the Reminders cards, provide the included reminders in the calendar of you device, Nearby photo spots is an interesting card that alerts you when you pass near famous photo attractive place. Let’s not forget the Nearby Attractions card that alerts you for nearby attractions and landmarks.
The Vignettes is an interesting new option that enables you to make screenshots of your display of the Glass over a photo. In this way, the image will display your screen on the background of the view in front of you. The improved search results in XE9 include News search and Play videos in search. You will be able to find more information for a song you are listening at the moment or a video that you are watching. Thanks to the News inclusion in the search results, you will be able to get the news that is the most interesting for you, faster and easier than ever.
