Google Glass gets OK by the FCC
Google never misses to bind with nondisclosure agreements everyone going to their Foundry events, but there’s little information that they can keep from us! Latest news is that Google Glass has successfully passed inspection by the FCC, hence here are some bits of info.
There is a 802.11 b/g WiFi module as well as support for Bluetooth 4.0 packed inside that tiny, wearable piece of technology. Not much else is disclosed, but when devices pass through the FCC this usually means that a public release is anytime soon.
Developers who signed up to be one of Google’s Explorers should be excited!
