Google will enrich the Glass Explorer program with new possibilities for old and new members
Most of the news about the wearable computing device Google Glass from the last months consists of the addition of new features, improvements of the capability of the eye-wear and the regular updates that Google rolls-out at least once a month. The most recent news comes as a good surprise for the proud owners of the Glass. It is not about an update they will get but for the possibility to receive a brand new unit as a replacement of their current device. As we know the only people that own the innovative high-end wearable device by Google are the developers that participate in the Glass Explorer program. The mobile giant has not released the Glass yet. The launching of the unique device is expected to happen in 2014.
Meantime, a lot of the current owners of Google Glass can swap their units for new, more improved version of the device. The eligible developers for the program are those who have bought Google Glass before 28th of October, 2013. According to Google it is a one time swap. In order to take advantage from the unique offer, developers need to register in the official website of the Glass within 60 days since the beginning of the program. The opportunity is a chance for the owners of the wearable device to get a newer version. It is not obligatory for all developers that own the Glass. Google has announced that more details about the program will be revealed in November.

Google has a nice surprise for everyone that dreams of owning the eye-wear – it officially revealed that is planning to expand the Glass Explorer program. The method that the company will use is through invitations. This means that the current participants in the program will be able to invite new participants. The limit for the invitations is up to three new people invited by each developer. If you are lucky to be amongst the new participants in the project you will be given the opportunity to buy the wanted unit. The broadening of the program is certainly good news for the most impatient users. The Google Glass is getting more and more improved, almost ready to conquer the market of wearable devices next year.
