Samsung is planning to release Galaxy Tab 3 Lite in Q1 2014
2014 is already promising to be one of the most exciting years for the digital world. We are expecting to see breakthrough technologies, advanced smartphones and tablets and extraordinary wearable computing devices among others. In 2014 we will also see a lot of new low-end handsets and tablets that will boast basic capabilities at very affordable price. Rumors suggest that Samsung will be one of those companies. Apparently the Korean manufacturer will be focusing on both, advanced and low-end smartphones and tablets to satisfy the needs of their users. Just recently we shared with you the leaks revealing the existence of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite and Samsung Galaxy Grand Lite. Both models are expected to be more modest variants of the original devices in terms of specs.
The latest leak reveals that Samsung is preparing more “Lites” for the next year. Sources close to the company shared the information for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite that will be unveiled in the beginning of 2014. The new slate with codename SM-T11 will carry a price tag of €100. If rumors turn out to be true, the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite will be the cheapest tablet made by Samsung until now. The sources do not unveil information about the specs of the affordable slate.
It seems that Galaxy Tab 3 Lite will be available in two versions. One of the models will arrive with Wi-Fi support, while the other will be 3G enabled. The first color variant that will hit the markets is Cream White. It is scheduled for arrival in the second week of January. The next model is Ebony Black coming soon after the Cream White tablet. Even though the specs of Galaxy Tab 3 Lite are still up in the air, the expectations suggest that the slate will boast a decent package of features and capabilities. With the price tag of €100 it will easily compete against some of the most famous models tablets by the Chinese manufacturers.
