Galaxy Tab 3 Lite available for pre-orders in Russia for $206
Hopefully the device should be available to purchase by the end of this month
Last week Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite was announced officially by Samsung along with all its specs being confirmed. Apparently, the 7-incher is ready to hit the online stores in Russia as a pre-order item in two color options- black and white. Russian users will also have to choose between the Wi-Fi and the 3G model of the device that wear the price tag of respectively 6490 rubles ($206) and 9990 rubles ($295). With a little more observation, mobile devices are usually more expensive in Russia; however in case the price tags of the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite models are final, we do have a reason to worry that the tablet won’t arrive to Europe or the US as cheap as we thought. Previous rumors pointed out that the tablet would cost around $100, but either way it’s still possible for the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite to be the cheapest Samsung tablet on the market. Unfortunately, there’s no word about the launch date; however hopefully the device should be available to purchase by the end of this month.
The specs of the tablet are exactly the same as the ones that leaked few days ago as the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite would rock a 7-inch WSVGA display with the resolution of 1024×600 pixels and will operate with a dual-core processor coated at 1.2GHz paired with 1GB of RAM. The 8GB internal storage is set for further expansion via a microSD card and the device includes a 2-megapixel main camera with features like smile direction, Share and Shoot and Panorama. In terms of connectivity, the tablet supports Wi-Fi 802.11, Wi-Fi Direct, BT4.0, USB2.0, GPS and HSPA+ 21mbps. Galaxy Tab 3 Lite is running Android 4.2 out of the box; however it’s still unknown whether Samsung is planning to roll out updates to newer Android versions for this one.
