Galaxy Note 3 is announced as the Olympics Games Phone for Sochi 2014
The Olympic Games are the most significant event in the sports world and not it becomes a major event in the mobile world. The Korean manufacturer Samsung is the official partner of the Olympics games. It is teaming up with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to accomplish the goal for the upcoming Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games to be “the most wireless, seamless and paperless Olympic Games ever.” The challenge in front of Samsung is huge. The smartphone that will be one of the most important “tools” for the achieving of this goal is the newly released phablet Samsung Galaxy Note 3. The model is officially announced as the Olympic Games phone. If you are wondering whether Samsung will release a special edition for the event, the answer is yes! A brand new Galaxy Note 3 Olympics Edition will be launched soon before the beginning of the event. It will sport unique shell with the characteristic symbols and colors of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
In addition to the phablet, Samsung is updating its dedicated app names Wireless Olympic Works app (WOW). It will be the best source of information for all the data from the Olympics, in real time and up-to-date. The WOW app will be available worldwide and will be provides free of charge. All the schedules, the events, the results and the important information will be easy for access thanks to the WOW application.
Samsung will join the Olympics with a special team of 80 athletes from 20 countries to compete at the Sochi 2014.
