First Samsung Galaxy S4 hands-on leak
It seems that every day till Thursday we will be seeing some new Samsung Galaxy S4 leak. So the special press even Samsung is holding on March 14 in New York to promote its new flagship won’t be that much for some surprising unveilings, but for clarifying and confirming what has already leaked. Earlier we got some new photos from China, rumoured to be the first ‘live’ photos of the device. Today we are getting a hands-on video and the things are getting pretty serious.
The device on the video is the same version we saw in the pics yesterday – GT-I9502. It appears to be a unit that functions more than fine and there is Android 4.2.1 on board with a brand new TouchWiz. Samsung Galaxy S4, if that’s what we see on the video, resembles Samsung Galaxy S3 in design with its pebble form and round edges. Everything is familiar except the edge-to-edge screen and the narrow bezel. The new flagship seems to be made of plastic, too.
Samsung Galaxy S4 from the video looks a bit thick. Maybe the reason is the great 2600mAh battery (unveiled again via the video) and the fact that this is a dual-SIM version maybe has something to do with the thickness, too. Probably the single-SIM version will be slimmer, but who knows. Now there is an improved camera interface and there are separate buttons for video and photo capture and the burst shot is demonstrated in the video below the article.
For a pity, the hands-on video is rather low in quality and a lot of details can’t be cleared out. However, after two days, everything will officially come out and the wait and rumours will be over, then we will be expecting the device to hit the markets.
